The Work At Home Mom’s Conundrum
I have worked for myself (or rather, my clients) for far more years than I have held a more traditional job. I am a multi-tasker, a self-starter, an entrepreneur who creates and fixes, and edits. I am also prone to working a lot, naturally.
That had to change when I gave birth to my son.
I had to take all of those qualities that worked for my clients and use them to work for my child. I never aspired to be a stay-at-home mom, but in the wake of extensive physical recovery, a stay-at-home mom is exactly what I became.
And now it is time for my nerdy, bossy brain to decide if I go back to working for myself, and carve out a schedule that works for my family, and my clients, or do I sell out completely and go to work for someone else? Both have their appeal.
