We Raised $600 for the Shaymus Guinn Foundation!
Last night, Sunspot, a rock band from Madison WI, played a show at McAuliffe’s Pub in Racine. JJ McAuliffe, the owner of said pub, put on a lady’s size medium Sunspot tank top, danced around and turned it into an impromptu charity auction.
Which I won, with a bid of $300. YAY!
Doug Nicholson, owner of several bars in Racine matched my bid. $600!
The money is going to the Shaymus Guinn Foundation – a local charity in the memory of Shaymus Guinn that helps local families battling cancer.
The Shaymus Guinn Foundation is a public non-profit 501(c) (3) foundation that was founded in the memory of Shaymus Guinn who lost his life to childhood cancer.
The foundation will foster and promote awareness of pediatric cancer and provide emotional and financial support to families coping with this devastating disease. shaymusguinnfoundation.org
