Hey there, I’m Meg Meyer.

I’m a Boss Lady, Geek Girl, Tech Queen, Serial Entrepreneur.  I have been helping business owners and organizations with their technology, digital and physical marketing, communications, and business development for 20+ years.  I currently consult with companies, am a virtual CIO (vCIO), and also oversee teams of technology and branding experts on larger projects.  Additionally, I am developing passion projects of my own.

This page includes some things you might want to know when working with me/us.

  • Booked Up through June.

  • Open for new Elite Enchilada ($$$$) & Concierge Level ($$$) clients July 6th – 12th, 2018.

(Current Clients: Don’t worry, you’re already in!)

Feel free to tell me about your project – if I’m not the right consultant for your tech, marketing, web development, SAAS, or new media project – or I just don’t have time – I will let you know, and probably point you in the direction of another rockstar to help you out!

Will you do it for exposure?

No.

I rarely advertise, as word-of-mouth & my toddler give me all the work I can handle.

I’m not cheap.  If you’re looking for cheap, or are a talented DIYer (not-talented DIYers beware – it’s more expensive for me to fix it than it is for me to do it right the first time) I’ll be publishing some resources to help you.  Don’t pretend you’re going to pay my livelihood, get me working, and then ditch out on the bill – let’s not waste each other’s time.  (Addendum: there’s a retainer.)

Good Fast Cheap - Pick 2

2 out of 3 Ain’t Bad

My time and expertise are valuable – and the paid invoice is tax-deductible for a business expense.  Obviously, I’m not your CPA – talk to your own accountant.

Registered 501c3 organizations, feel free to touch base.  I offer special rates for registered charitable organizations.  Even if I don’t have time, one of my associates or interns may be able to help.

“I have a really exciting project & a tribe waiting for it, but not the budget to have you do it for me.”

That said… if you are a talented DIYer – I’m building some resources to guide you through the process of doing it yourself – for a fraction of the price of having me or my team work on your project.  It’ll be slower, usually, but you’ll gain new skills and insights in the process!

There will be 2 payment options.  A multi-pay.  And a discount if you pay up-front.

What else do you have coming up?

I am a licensed facilitator of workshops based on the best-selling books by Danielle LaPorte: “The Desire Map” & “Fire Starter Sessions.”  I will be offering workshops throughout the year.  Also offering some of this great material in conjunction with my own. Stay tuned for more.

How else do you serve your community?

I believe in digital inclusiveness, literacy, clean water, fresh produce access, and education.  I frequently donate a percentage of what I make to charities that support these causes as well as charities that support children.  I invite my business clients and course members to join me in philanthropy.

Want to feel great?  Ask how you can be generous to your community and then say yes to the opportunities that come up today!

Setting Up Email List Software while Working From Home – FTC CAN-SPAM Compliance

Whoa. I’ve seen a lot of bad advice out there.  I’ve taken some, too. But ignoring the CAN-SPAM act from the FTC in the United States, or similar acts around the world can cost a small business owner BIG TIME!  Over $41,000 per violating email, to be specific.  Just one email […]

Getting Ready for the AWESOME

Some people, myself included, have a hard time accepting good things. Compliments.  Ring a bell? Success.  How many times have you seen someone sabotage themselves? Work that’s actually fulfilling.  I think we’ve all been programmed for this one!   What if you knew that compliments are a guidepost to illuminate […]

Last night, Sunspot, a rock band from Madison WI, played a show at McAuliffe’s Pub in Racine.  JJ McAuliffe, the owner of said pub, put on a lady’s size medium Sunspot tank top, danced around and turned it into an impromptu charity auction. Which I won, with a bid of […]
